Import Your Contacts

NOTE:  The only required fields are “First Name” and “Last Name” (in separate columns). We also highly recommend having an “Email” column to get the most out of the Contacts feature. No address needed!

1. Click on Import
2. Scroll down and Click Select File
   1. A pop up will appear to select a file from your computer.
      
3. Next, scroll to Match columns to data fields.
   1. Click on the empty data field and select the best match from the dropdown menu.
      
      1. We will only import the columns that have been matched.
4. Click Scan my File.
   1. Once the file is scanned for errors, select Import. Keep this page open until your import is complete.

You’re all set. You should now see your contacts in your Contacts dashboard.

2. Click on Get Started
   
   
   1. 1. Click on the button to sign in or create an account via API Nation.
         
         
         1. 1. If you already have an API Nation account, log in using your existing credentials.
            2. If you’re new to API Nation, follow the prompts to create a free account.
      2. Click Generate Key under API key
         1. To connect to API Nation, add UUID and API Key here.
            
            1. API Nation requires you to connect via homeowner.ai because our platform is powered by homeowner.ai.
      3. Select the app, CRM, etc that you would like to import.
         
         1. 1. 1. Follow the steps in API to complete the import. 
               2. If you encounter any issues while connecting your account, these specific help articles may be useful and API Nation Support is available to assist you.  

That’s it! Once complete, your contacts will be visible in your account.
