Delegate Access to Domain
Invite delegates, collaborators, or contributors to manage your accounts
Need to give someone access to manage your domain or website? This guide walks you through inviting delegates, collaborators, or contributors on the most common hosting platforms—without sharing your login credentials.
GoDaddy: Invite a Delegate
Delegates can open and manage your products without accessing sensitive account information like payment methods or passwords.
| 1 | Go to your GoDaddy Delegate Access page. You may be prompted to sign in. |
| 2 | In the People who can access my account section, select Invite to Access. |
| 3 | Enter support@homeowner.ai for the email address of the person you're inviting. |
| 4 |
Select one of the access levels:
Products, Domains, & Purchase – Manage products, domains, and make purchases using stored credit cards. No access to view or modify payment information. Products & Domains – Access to manage products and domains only. Domains Only – Access to manage specific domains only. |
| 5 | Select Invite. The person will receive an email invitation and you'll be notified once they accept. |
Namecheap: Share Domain Access
Designate another Namecheap user as a domain manager with specific permissions for your domain.
| 1 | Sign into your Namecheap account. |
| 2 | Select Domain List from the left sidebar and click Manage next to the domain you want to share. |
