Connect your Follow Up Boss (FUB) CRM to automatically sync your contacts and write homeowner activity and insights directly back into your CRM.
Follow Up Boss Integration
The integration with Follow Up Boss enables two-way data flow:
✓ Contact Import:
Automatically sync your FUB contacts into Homeowner.ai so you
can
invite them to claim their Homeowner Hub.
✓ CRM Write-Back:
Push homeowner engagement, property insights, and opportunity
signals
back into Follow Up Boss as activities and tags, so you can prioritize
outreach and build automations without switching platforms.
Before You Begin
You will need a Follow Up Boss API token to authorize the connection.
This token allows for secure access to your contact data
and
write activity back to your CRM.
Note: If you previously connected your CRM through
API Nation
or
imported contacts via CSV, you will need to establish the new in-platform
CRM connection to enable continuous syncing and write-back functionality.
How to Connect
1. Log in to your Homeowner.ai Professional account.
2. Navigate to your Contacts page.
3. Click Import My Contacts.
4. In the Import Contacts window, click Get Started.
5. Select Follow Up Boss from the list of CRM options.
Generate Your API Key
1. Click the Generate API Key hyperlink within
the connection screen.
This will open Follow Up Boss in a new tab so you
can
create your token.
2. In Follow Up Boss, go to Admin > Integrations > API.
3. Click Generate API Key.
4. Give your key a descriptive name (e.g., "Homeowner.ai Integration").
5. Copy the API Key to your clipboard. options.
Complete the Connection
1. Return to your dashboard.
2. Paste your API token into the field provided.
3. Click Connect.
Your initial sync will begin automatically. Most databases sync within 3-5 minutes, though larger contact lists may take longer.
