Two Simple Steps to Connect
Follow this guided process to establish a secure, bidirectional connection between your platforms.
Step 1: Connect Your Cloze Account
Start the Integration
You'll need your Cloze login credentials to authorize the connection. Cloze uses a secure sign-in process, so no API key is required.
Sign into your Homeowner.ai Professional account.
Click Import Contacts, then select
Get Started from the import window.
Tip: You can also begin the process from
the Contacts page.
Choose Cloze from the list of available CRM integrations.
Click Connect Account. A secure Cloze sign-in window will open. Sign in with your Cloze credentials.
Step 2: Authorize Access to Your Cloze Account

You'll need to authorize Homeowner.ai to access your Cloze contact data and write activity back. Sign in to Cloze directly, or follow the redirect from Step 1.
Review the requested permissions that allow Homeowner.ai to securely sync your contacts and write engagement activity back to your CRM.
Click Approve to authorize the integration. Once complete, you'll automatically be redirected back to Homeowner.ai.
Your initial sync will begin automatically.
Most databases sync within 3–5 minutes. Larger contact lists may take additional time to complete.

I previously connected through API Nation. Do I need to do anything?
Yes. You'll need to reconnect using the new in-platform Cloze integration to enable continuous synchronization and CRM write-back.
I imported contacts using a CSV. Will they sync automatically?
No. CSV imports are one-time imports only. To enable automatic syncing and write-back, connect your Cloze account using this integration.
My contacts haven't appeared yet. How long does the sync take?
Most accounts complete syncing within 3–5 minutes, but larger contact databases can take longer. If your contacts still haven't appeared after a reasonable amount of time, contact Support.
